Boat, Sport and RV Show in Marquette This Weekend

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources will staff a booth at the annual Boat, Sport and RV Show at the Superior Dome March 24-26 on the campus of Northern Michigan University.

year," said John Pepin, DNR deputy public information officer. "This really gets people ready for the boating, fishing, camping and other outdoor recreation seasons that are all just around the corner."
Presented by Northern Michigan Shows, the Boat, Sport and RV Show is now in its 24th year. The Superior Dome is located at 1401 Presque Isle Avenue in Marquette.
Hours for the weekend show are 4-9 p.m. Friday (March 24); 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday (March 25) and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (March 26).
Admission prices are $4.50 for adults; $3.50 for seniors (age 65 and older) and children ages 6-12 and, those under 6 years old are admitted free of charge.
"Our DNR booth will include handouts and giveaways related to hunting, fishing, forestry and fire management," said Kristi Dahlstrom, organizer of the DNR's show booth. "Staff at the booth will be from the DNR's parks and recreation, forestry, wildlife and
law enforcement divisions, along with front office personnel, who are ready to answer questions and provide information."
The show will also include a kids' trout fishing pond.
