GreenStone Honored as 'Best and Brightest to Work For'
Michigan Ag Connection - 01/19/2017
GreenStone Farm Credit Services was recently recognized as one of the National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in 2016. This marks the fourth year the organization has earned this honor at the national level, also taking home an award most
recently in 2015.
The Best and Brightest competition honors organizations that demonstrate excellence in their human resources practices and employee enrichment programs. GreenStone was assessed on points such as communication, work-life balance, employee education,
diversity, recognition and retention.
GreenStone staff participated in an employee engagement survey as part of the application process, which measured how meaningfully and personally connected they are to their work and to GreenStone. In addition to the survey, GreenStone also reported on
company policies, culture and practices.
"GreenStone's leadership is committed to making this an outstanding place to work," said Beth Barker, executive vice president and chief human resources officer. "We regularly invite our employees to provide feedback, and we really listen to what they have to
say. I think that is the foundation of becoming one of the Best and Brightest."
GreenStone employs approximately 500 people across 36 locations in Michigan and northeast Wisconsin.
The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For is an awards competition providing the business community with the opportunity to gain recognition, showcase their best practices and demonstrate why they are an ideal place for employees to work. The Best
and Brightest program provides yearlong education, benchmarking, assessment tools and interaction amongst the best employers.
